.223 load data

Hey 6, firstly you don't stand a chance with 90's through 1:8. The good news is them 80's will fly like a bat outa hell.

Varget, lots. I have a Wylde chamber so I doubt my data will help.

Another great bullet that should work well is the 82gr.

This was a warm load. Don't use it.

Some more nice shooting.

Im running 25.6gr of varget for the 69grainerz, so that might be a lil on the hottish side. Im kind of kicking myself in the azz for getting a 9twist, oh well. Still love shooting the ole 223 though. heh

Dont know if youll get anywhere with the 90's in a 8twist. :)

I'm also working around 23.6-24.0 gr of varget with 80gr vld's, not sure on velocity I need to get another chrono.

I'm using 80 gr SMKs, Lapua brass, 205Ms and 24 grains of Varget. 2860 fps out a tight chambered 1-8 , 28" Gaillard barrel. It's plenty warm, single digit ES. 23 looks good at 100 but spreads are close to 100fps.

80 grain VLDs were also good at the same load, if anything maybe a bit better. Sometimes you have to shoot up what you have.
