I'm looking for some load recommendations for a 223 with a 9" twist in a 20" heavy barrel. I know that twist rate should like the heavier bullets. But will the short barrel affect that at all? So any ideas on bullet weights and powder will be greatly appreciated. This load will be used mostly for coyotes and paper. Thanks!

Good brass Lapua is the best, Varget,Rl15, VT 140-150
69gr Sierras, 70 to 75gr Bergers,75gr Hornady HPBT
CCI BR primers or Fed Gold Match
Start at 24.3gr Varget and work, up good luck

+1 to everything Manitou210 said.

Also, I have found Nosler 55 Ballistic Tips to work very well. Load 'em up to max or near-max velocity, use a powder like N140, Varget or H4895. Good accuracy quite easily obtained. I've shot them as far as 600 yards with very good accuracy.
