Hey guys
Im building a new 223 for F class shooting to 1000 yards i use to run reloader 15 for 69 gr Sierras but im going up to 80 Gr Custom Competition Noslers and maybe a 85 Gr Barnes match burners im looking for a world of information from people with actual experience with these bullets and what powder they used and distance they got with their results or what powder i should give a try that would be a possibilty good load. Please i hope some people can give me some insight on this. Thanks guys

Yes, Varget.
I've had some amazing results with 80 and 90gr VLDs, using Varget.

Nosler, Barnes... really? Never heard of Berger? ;)

My local WSS always has Berger in stock. International Shooting Supply, in Surrey BC, also has a good selection.

I'm curious what you're building/built. My own .223 was built to shoot 90gr VLDs, but shoots the 80 and 82gr a wee bit better.
Thankfully in the lower mainland, I can always find Berger.

I built a 223 f class gun off a remington 700P action with a JC Custom Barrel 1 in 8 twist finished at 28 inches. I bought a stock blank from Boyds and carved the stock myself. Its kinda a design i made up its basically a Low Boy F class style tho. Did you ever try and R-15 powder for your heavier bullets? I use to use it for 69's and worked awesome.

I love reloading, especially the aspect of trying various powders, but in the case of the 223 with the bullet weights described, I use nothing but max loads of Varget, same goes for the 308 for medium weight bullets. I have to confess to playing with CFE223 in both chamberings with good success - it's more dense than Varget and meters better.
