I am trying to decide on a rifle. I've got a few questions. I am looking at either getting that new mini-14 target/ savage/ stevens. Does anyone have a stevens in a 22-250 what is the OD of the barrel? What are your thoughts get the savage FV in 223 or get the stevens and have some fun working on it. If I had the stevens I'm thinking a trigger job, new stock, and bolt handle. What does everyone think?
PS: I plan to use this rifle for coyotes, seals and possibly trapping if they ever put off the trapping course here.
