With the prices and lack of availabilty of powder and primers right now, the bulk prices for surplus ammo (especially Norinco) in Canada is still cheaper - or close to it, than reloading.
 
No question about that.... we are getting majorly fu...d here. Believe it or not you can buy Canadian made Elcan Specter Scope cheaper in U.S. Go figure!

Exactly the same type of example of buying the same VW Golf in Canada or Germany.

It again goes back to cost of doing business and all the social benefits we "enjoy". It's all the hidden taxes we pay. We pay for our healthcare and social benefits indirectly through higher costs of goods and services.
