Anyone have load data for a 223 Remington (not 556) with a 75 grain Amax bullet. I have the Hornady 10th and 11th editions and I that data is not listed. I have several different powders I can use.
I searched the net and am coming up dry.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hey, I am loading them in Lapua brass w. CCI 450 primers. I am running them at 2.480" COAL. I started with 24 grains of varget and worked up from there, don't want to lead you astray by giving you my final numbers. Definitely check your chamber length, if you can't load them that long you would want to start a bit lower with your powder charge as the reduction in available case volume would increase your pressure. Proceed at your own risk!

Btw they shoot great in my Tikka 1:8 twist. 600+ yards without issue.

And btw, I checked the Hodgdon site based on the previous two posters recommendation. It shows data for the 75Gr. JLK VLD and not the Amax. They are probably fairly similar but YMMV.

It’s under 223/556 SERVICE RIFLE because they are faster twist rifles 👍 if you have a 12+twist 223 don’t bother to shoot them as they will only keyhole . If you have 9 or 8 twist all will Good !
LOTs of powders work well in 223 s . There not hard to load for 👍 RJ
