I have an older model Sako Hunter in .223 cal I would like to convert to a Varmint / Target rifle keeping the .223 caliber. The Proof Research Carbon barrels definitely have my attention but other than weight reduction would I see a great improvement accuracy wise during relatively long shooting sessions over a good quality match steel barrel?
