223 semi

Hi. Where your bank breaks has a lot to do with it. There's the Benelli MR1 at around $1,650. The Browning BAR at around $1150. The Tavor at around $3200.
The Ruger Mini-Target is supposedly much better than a standard Mini-14. Runs around a grand.

I have an XCR-L but that could be classed as breaking the bank...

And i can tell the Benelli mr-1 is a hell of a rifle 2300 rounds later the grin on my face is getting bigger each time i bring my best non-restricted black rifle to the range and with the Lar-15 10 rounds mags this marvelous rifle trow lead very accurately... JP.

I'm not sure about Sig but I think there is one that isn't restricted here, and Vault Distribution's website shows a Kel-Tec SU-16 variant coming into Canada. Wanstalls (site sponsor, linked banner ad at top of this page) is selling Kel-Tec so they would know.

The newer CSA CZ858 rifles in .223 are in the same league price wise as the Mini 14. Other than that there is not much to choose from. Get a bigger bank?

I prefer a SKS to a mini-14 or 30 same accuracy same reliability but 3 time less expensive and the ammo is cheaper... JP.

$1000 - Mini 14, CSA .223 rifle
$1600 - Benelli MR-1, Used Ar180b
$2400 - RA XCR, RA M96, H&K SL8
$3000 - IWI Tavor, FS2000
$3600 - Swiss Arms Classic Green/Black Special

I'm becoming obsessed with the vq evolution. If only the price was a little lower, and some used ones were in the EE
Probably be cheaper than pimping a mini 14 like I was considering, and the vq takes AR Magazines.
