there's a DOCUMENTED case of a cop at one of the police games a few years back that had his primary go south on him, drew out his BERETTA 92 and MADE THE SHOT- THAT'S THE MAN, NOT THE GUN- the range was 250 yards
Well, I doesn't think it hurt's that the Beretta 92 is a fantastic firearm and at a bench will shoot nice groups. IMHO, there are many pistols that is true for...
Now, can I hit paper with a Beretta 92 at 250 yards... Probably not. At a bench yeah, probably. You're right though... That's a matter of skill. Now, at 100yrds I can do a little more than hit paper from standing with the Beretta 92
What is not a matter of skill is when a AR-9 upper is placed on a converted AR-15 lower, the gun is then shot from bench and cannot maintain tight groups. In that case its an issue with the gun.
What I was saying was that, In my experience, with the 9mm carbine's I have played with... What i consider to be good accuracy was not attainable out the box as if it were a normal pistol. Could I do work to my AR-9 upper and improve the accuracy. Yeah, Probably... I'm not sure how much though.
