223 vz58 magazines

Does anybody know where i can find some VZ58 mags in 223? One more thing, how can you tell when your VZ58 rifle was made? Thanks in advance.

i saw this vz58 223 mags from Kelly,s sporting goods web page 3 weeks ago....might still be available. According to some CGN post the year when your rifle was produced is stamped on the right side of the rear sight where you can see a kinda lion symbol with an X stamped to it, the number beside it is the date....i.e 2012 if 12...hope this help..

Been looking as well, Kelly's says product not available. I'm seriously considering the magwell adaptor.. Lots of AR and LAR mags for cheap. I'd just be curious to see the reliability of the adaptor. My VZ runs perfectly now and I don't want to screw with it.

I have the mag adapter installed and mine runs great. I never even used the original mags. I bought the adapter about 2 months before I bought the gun. I use mostly the LAR 15 mags but I have a couple E-lander AR mags mostly for looks. I would recommend getting for the option of the 10 round mags.
