There’s two .223s for sale on the local classifieds for sale.
Price is pretty much the same , although the Rem comes with a Bushnell 3200.
What do you think about the asking price?
Which one would you pick?

I’m leaning towards the Rem, but only because of the aftermarket support.

I’ll be using either as a target rifle only, mostly doing load testing for accuracy.View attachment 697159View attachment 697157View attachment 697158View attachment 697156

Oh, and move quick. That's a great deal and you have provided enough info that I found the add in seconds. Someone is gonna jump on it.

So , if the ammo wasn’t included, still think the 700/bushnell is the better deal?

I’m waiting on a reply now in regards to the 700

Is the 700 one of the 1-12 twists?

Its a very good deal but I wouldn't be too into that.

Xbolts are nice guns in walnut or laminate, not crazy keen on their synthetic stocks. They shoot ok but not as good as they can in a decent stock, but that goes for about every rifle ever made. Mags are kinda crappy, plastic rotary style, way too pricey for what they are.
My brother still has an older 308 SS HB in laminate, I got that thing shooting right with some handloads, didn't have to bed it, well fit to the stock. 60 degree bolt throw is the nice part of these rifles.
