223ai repeater

I just wondering about feeding issues with the ai version of the 223?
Will this round feed from staggered or does it need to be single stack?

The only thing I did with my R700 .223 AI was take the spacer out of the back of the mag box, and put a smaller one in so I could seat longer bullets out longer. My 75 amax load is 2.450" and the modded box feeds them just fine. To be fair, the AI case isn't as slick as SAIMI .223, but it functions fine. I have seen feeding issues with rifles that stated as .221 FB's...

I know someone who made a .223AI in a AR-15 and it worked fine.
