Stumbled across this chart. One would imagine there’s a 22-250 chart kicking around somewhere. I’d like to be north of 3200 fps out of a 223 with varmint bullet 50-60 gr.

Looks like 1:8 is good choice.

My 223 is a 9 twist, it will shoot anything up 69gr bullets really good, anything over that meh no so good, buddy has an 8 twist which shoots 75 gr really nice, my next one will have a 7 or 7 1/2 twist

"Over twist" has minimal detrimental effect on accuracy.
In a .308 bore for example a 185 Berger, 3000fps, in 1/9 has an Sg of 2.6 and will stay inside 0.3 moa at 1000 with a custom barrel.
A 178Amax, 2650fps with 1/13, Sg 1.27 and factory barrel will tumble 6/10 times at 1000 or one inch at 100yds with a 110.
Flat base bullets are stable at much lower Sg, Berger calculator calibrated for boat tails only.
Velocity is nearly irrelevant vs twist.
In the Amax example an Sg of 1.5 can be achieved with 1/12 at 2650 or 1/13 at 4300fps.
