Does anyone make a 225gr RN bullet fo the .358 ? Hornady makes a 200 and a 250, but any of the 225's I've found are of the pointy variety, and the spitzers just don't feed as smoothly as I'd like in my rifle (a Savage 99c). Without an appropriately placed cannelure to accomodate a good crimp, the brass at the leading edge of the neck tends to catch up on the chamber entrance...could be it has something to do with the bullet ogive shape as well, and how it impacts the angle at which the cartridge is directed into the chamber.

Make sure the case mouth is champfered and put just a hint of a crimp on it (will work even without a cannelure as long as you don't do it too hard.
You could also cut off the exposed tips--I have to do that with the Nosler 225 plastic tip bullets.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I might give the 220gr flat nose a try. I've tried putting considerably more of a chamfer than I usually do on the outside of the neck, and crimping both with and without a cannelure. Even with the cannelure and the RN's I get a bit of a hang up once in a while. Up 'til now I've resisted the temptation to attack the offending sharp edge at the bottom of the chamber entrance with a dremel. I suspect that would not be an adviseable plan, but I'm getting frustrated, and am beginning to lose patience...so any more suggestions that might sove the problem would be greatly appreciated.
