226 raunchy initial trigger pull.

Ive smoothend out the trigger on my 226 Elite. However the initial trigger is still abit rough and then it smoothens to a real nice smooth pull. I cant figure out were this initial roughnes is.

Any ideas were to look? Its seems to be in the trigger, when I thumb the hammer back it is very smooth. When I pull the trigger its rough.

To clarify, is it the initial portion of the double action that's the issue, or the entire double action pull? Either way, that's pretty much par for the course. They can be somewhat smoothed, but if you're looking for a 'double action Smith and Wesson revolver' smooth you won't find it.

It is the initial part of the double action pull, say the first third of the pull maybe slightly less then it smoothens right out. Initally the entire DA pull was rough, but Ive polished eveything out and its just this part that I cant seem to find.
