Does anyone have any experience wih the NAA mini master or NAA Earl that wanstalls sells? They are small, single action and under $400. Apparently they are getting more Mini Masters in the fall. I'm considering one, or an alfa proj ...

In use the gun is superb fun but I would not suggest it for anything serious due to the slow loading method and less than "fist filling" size of the handgrips. The cylinder needs to be removed and the empties shucked out with the base pin as an "ejector". Then you fit it and holding the gun with more than two fingers is a real issue.

On the good side the gun itself is more than accurate enough. I've gotten to know how to hold it and pull the hard spur trigger well enough that I can get 1.25" to 1.5" groups at 12 yards.

Don't let the slow loading scare you off. If you're not a "blast 'em up" sort of shooter The Earl is hugely fun to own and shoot.
