.22lr accu tip or fmj ammo???

I seen a article about a year ago about a company in south Africa making .22lr fmj ammo. was wondering if anyone has ever seen or shot any. Or know of any company's making polymer tipped .22lr.

Never heard of any .22 tipped ammo but if you wish to shoot some small cal. ammo that is tipped, then you would have to drop back to a .17 cal. But realize that with this innovation comes a price tag.

I had a 17 hmr. It was great but $16.00 for 50 rnds of hornadys. Going back to .22. Wonder why no one has made tipped .22lr.

I went with the 17Mach2 with ammunition prices at less than $7 per box of 50.

The FMJ .22 ammo place is called Rimfire Universe in South Africa and it's a all FAKE! I remember reading about it on RFC back in July.

if you google the name, it is suppose to be a pending thing as of 4 years ago. If it becomes a reality, it would be expensive.
