Ive been searching for a decent .22 mag scope with BDC without much luck. I starting to think about a trying a .22lr bdc scope on a .22mag. rifle.
Anyone tried this.
How much different will the bdc make between the two calibers?

No problem at all if you use a Nikon or Burris scope. They both have interactive charts that let you enter scope model, cartridge and more and then give you a model showing where your POI is for all the markings. Their kinda neat as you can change bullet weight, make manufacturer, bullet type and yardage where you zero the scope quickly so you can see what different combos will give you.

One thing some people don't like is usually a .22lr or rimfire scope has 1/4 in. adjustments per click at 50yrds. instead of 100 but a lot of others depending on their intended use don't care about that. Other manufacturers may have this tool as well I just haven't looked.
