.22LR bricks at Can Tire & Wal*Mart

Why not just go to the local hunting shop and grab a box, sure it might be 3 bucks more but over 500 rounds its not a noticable cost difference, and no waiting.

here both have still that ammo...
Once I get my pal I guess I'll stock some 5000 in case they stop carrying ammo

Because there are only 3 other gun shops locally and they don't have them in stock and want way too much, they told me $14 is less then their wholesale cost.I wanna support mom & pop shops but reality the cost of living keeps rising and these small shops will not order these bricks.

Wow, that sucks to hear. Too bad shipping would cost more then the ammo. The crappy tire here has loads of 22lr in fact its about all they have most of the time.

Sidney I'll check JD in Halifax tommorow when I drop in for ammo.

This past Saturday I called the Sackville Canadian Tire around 10:00 am and the cute young sporting goods section clerk told me they had one brick of Federal left so I asked her to physically check if it's there and she did.Well 10 minutes after I called someone dropped in the store and bought it,so when I got into the store at around 12:00 it was gone, boy was I pissed.

Well like I said, I'll drop into this gunshop and see if they have any.

I dropped into JD's They had American Eagle and Thunderbolts. I believe AE was 15ish + taxes for a Brick and Thunderbolt were cheaper. We bought out the bricks we could see, But call them up at 852-2551 to see if they have more.

I told you JD's in prospect. 20km away from Halifax. under 17$.

Wally World here in Yellowknife is not selling Federal ammo anymore, for some reason that no one can tell me. It used to be $14,97 for a brick of 550 and I will indeed miss that.

The best deal was a few years ago here in the old Crappy Tire; someone screwed up the computer pricing of the boxes and put the price of the 50 round box on the brick. In one Saturday I think they went through quite a few bricks of .22 ammo as it was going, unintentionally, for something like $2.29 a brick!!!!!

you might want to get an squint at the manager of your wal-mart sporting goods- ours changed to a female anti and there's been no 22 for months, even though it sold well- fortunately i have several others to check
