.22lr conversion kit - Yes or no?

i too have one, for my g17, totally worth the money if you want to get range time with your glock to build muscle memory for it. i paid like 550 all said and done for mine..

it comes with a list of recommended and not recommended ammunition , id sugest to follow that as close as you can, i run blazer threw mine since all my other .22s love it (its on the not recommended list) it fires and cycles fine but the feed ramp leads up rather quickly, at about 200-250 rds i have to scrape it off.

id give it a 9.5/10, only becuase im not a fan of the rear site, i love that its adjustable but when it adjusts only a small portion of it moves and it takes abit of getting used to over the stock glock sites

Thanks for all the great feedback!
Appears that these conversion kits are a positive tool to have. Saw a lot of Youtube reviews and I'm almost sold on one.

IIRC the AA kit comes it two versions? eg. adjustable and fixed sights.

You can put regular Glock sights on it. I've put Tru-Glo TFO's on mine. Fantastic sights. Here's a look at 'em. These are on my G20C but they are the same as the AA kit.

Mercury0_0, thanks for the pics.
I've never used hi-viz sites but they look very effective especially the two different colours. Obviously, the cost just went up:(

BTW...nice leather! Is that a jacket or vest?

correct, the kit can be had with 2 different sight opetions.. but good luck finding a place where you have the option of one or the other. its basically goin to be buy what you can find!!

i guess i should have been more specific and say im not a big fan of the way the adjustable sights work.. but at the same time they are nice to have. my 9mm glock shoot bang on at 25yds, but the AA convertion with the AA sights set all the way down so they look like the standard glock sights it shot about 8" low at 25yds.

the stock glock17 is on the left, on the right you can see how with the adjustable sights only a small portion in the middle moves up, it takes a get of bit of gettiner used to no not pay attention to the lower out side edges when aiming.. (i cant really thing of how to say what i mean haha)

no worries, just remember this is only MY opinion, befor i got the AA kit, i had put thosands of rounds threw my glock, so to have my glock with different sights was really weird at first.. im sure if the same sights were on a completely different gun, it would be just fine and i wouldnt find them weird.. but to draw the glock with diff sights took a bit of gettin used too!
