Hey out there, been thinking about picking up a CMMG .22lr kit for my AR. Anyone out there have any experience with them?

Love my CMMG kit. You'll have to find which ammo will and won't feed though. Mine loves Lapua....Federal, about 1 jam every 5 rounds; Federal is ####.

Strange because mine will feed the federal 36gr copper washed hollow points (Wal-Mart bulk stuff) all day long!

Its a decent training aid. My kids love the conversion. Tack driver it is not but minute of balloon at 50 yds is all the kids need.
 
Another happy CMMG user here. Mine also doesn't like the Federal 525 pack ammo, at least 1 FTF/FTE/stovepipe every mag. It runs 100% with Winchester Dynapoint GT's and the 333/555 pack ammo.

Accuracy is so-so, about 3-4" at 50yds, but it is a ton of fun and good for cheap CQB practice and close range blasting. I got my kit and extra BDM mags from Questar and was happy with their price and service.

i also have cmmg.im happy but The only problem with the kit is the regular ar charging handle last couple rounds get stuck but cmmg came up with with their own charging handle

I have the stainless version. The kit works well with Black Dog 25rnd mags and mine eats up the cheap Win555's. It's my son's fav rimfire!
Lot's of fun for little money but clean it and fire a mag of .223 after a couple hundred .22lr's to clear out the gas tube.
