I was just curious if anyone could help me find 22 lr target ammo in calgary. Im travelling there next week and would like to purchase a variety of different target ammo to try in my new 457. Any info on best selections or prices would be very helpful.

Can't really answer your question, but as a traveling gopher shooter (every other year) from Ontario-Alberta...I ship the ammo I'm going to need for my trips. There are lots of gun shops in the Calgary area, if you include places like Bass Pro, Canadian Tire, etc. In my experience trying to find the same thing out (bulk 22/17HMR, but only one type of each) I decided I didn't have the appetite to kill one day of my long-awaited gopher-slaying adventures driving all over the city grabbing a bit of this here, a bit of that there, etc. I use CanPar to ship. If I were you, I'd look at a website like Nordic to see what's available, and if you still feel like driving around in Alberta for the more pedestrian stuff...grab THAT there.
 
Buy online for match ammo: Hirsch Precision, Nordik Marksman, Tesro = all good people.

Thanks for all the responses, I was hopeful to buy a variety of different ammo's to figure out what the guns like and then order a lot at one time. I do live remotely and I'm not sure if they will ship to a PO Box or not but that definately seems like the way to go. I will try the suggestions when im in calgary and hopefully i can narrow down my choices.
