I'm considering a bolt rifle in 22wmr. I've been reading some of the previous threads on low to mid-range rimfire guns, mostly 22lr. A lot seem to favour the CZ452 or 455 Varmint. I'm looking at 22wmr. I think I have narrowed it down to Savage BRJ or CZ452 Varmint, but am still looking for input. Anyone have experience with both?

If your looking for a WMR maybe look at the American version of either CZ 452 or 455. Much lighter to carry around if you wish to hunt with it. I would not go with Savage cause i find them plain ugly. But thats a question of taste. I very often ear that Savages are almost as accurate (and some are better) as CZ's are!. So, in the accuracy department you will be good to zapp critters with both. What do you want to use it for?
