243 87 grn Vmax loads?

Does any one load the above? I impulse purchased a box of 87 grn vmax and now I realise I only have data for 85 grn bullets. I just feel better starting out with a load specifically for these bullets if possible.

Or I could start a hording cupboard like a real reloader.

try between 42-43 grains of H4350 and it should work for you.

43gr was wickedly accurate for me.

Could be a good starting place for you - work up loads carefully!

Try 40/41 grains of W760. IIRC, this was a one holer in my buddy's M788 Remington. Regards, Eagleye

"...only have data for 85 grn bullets..." That's close enough. Two grains won't make any difference. If you want specific data for that bullet, you'll have to buy a Hornady manual.

thats IMR 3031 right? I impulse purchased a pound of 3031 at the same time. What is the chances of that happening?
