Im working on some loads for .243 Win and im wondering if anyone has had any powder/bullet combinations that work outstandingly better than others.
Ive worked a bit with imr 4350 and 87 bthp hornadys but it wasnt as good as i thought it would be. Looking back at my loading manual they list H4831 as the best accuracy powder. ANy feedback is appreciated.

thanks

I am assuming you are a newbie ( all are when they first join) to here and have worked up loads before,or are you new to shooting?

prep the case

Step one would be debur the flash hole and then use a primer pocket uniformer.
Trim the case to length then deburr the neck inside and out.
These basic steps will make your brass uniform for more consistent loads.
Check out www.sinclairintl.com for tools and advice.

Try IMR4350 with Hornady 87 SP Flat base bullet with CCI200 primer, Work up your loads Starting at 40g, increase .5 increments, I found 42g worked well in my rifle.

I'm looking to load 55 gr coyote loads with either IMR 3130 or H4350 as thats what I have.

Any suggestions which is better? I'm trying to narrow down how many types of powder I keep and both these work well in my other loads.

I would be open to bringing in one more lb of powder into my powder family if I can gain something such as speed with lower pressures.

Thanks for the input . I did chamfer the insides of the cases but not the od. Ill try some other variants and see if i can tighten up the groups.
