.243 Win to 7mm-08.

I picked a 7mm-08 a little while ago and haven't seen brass anywhere so I'm looking at taking .243Win cases and necking them up to 7mm-08.
I would like to hear from people that have done this or tried to do it, as I can find .243 brass all over the place. Thanks in advance!!

Was thinking 6mm to 7mm is only 1 mm, whereas .308 down to 7mm is too much of a jump an would probably cause neck thickness issues.

Unless you’ve got a custom cut chamber necking down 308’s will never be an issue.

I think sqwarsh’in wood been easier than stretch’in.
Maybe some trimming in the first method.
