Called Barnes my self and they told me that both bullets I use in my 243 and my 7mm rem mag are out of production . I bought a box of Barnes Varminators . But the barnes people got me going . COAL 2.60 44 Grs of IMR 4350 , with fedeal primers . They SHoot about two inchs high at a 100 meters . I normal shoot and reload a 100 gr hornady bullet for hunting whitetail and mules . I bought the rifle for my daughter , but the more I fire it the more I like the 243. win It is easy to load for the 6 mm , and it comes in all different weights . I have a good friend that just bought a 204 Ruger for shooting gophers , We had loads of fun with the 204 and I thought I would work up some gopher loads for the daughters 243 . To say that the 243 did a good job on gophers is an under statement . I can`t wait for next year to try out Barnes new Varmint Grenade . Joe
