.243win with Varget?

New to reloading, just got my Lee press today.
I will be purchasing Varget for my 55gr Vmax for my 22-250.

Question: Can I use Varget with my .243win as well with good results, 55gr to 70gr bullets. Used for coyote. Or is there a much better choice generally speaking for the .243??

My source only places primer orders in bulk:
Are the CCI large rifle primers just as good as any other? Or is there a superior primer out there?

Yes - Varget can be used across the board on bullet from 55 to 70 grains. It is one of the powder that will get you max velocity with the 55 grain in the .243. If you go heavier than 70 grain bullet - there is better choice than Varget for those. CCI primer are as good as any.
 
Varget was one of my favorite powders for loading 243 with 55-87 gr bullets. My favorite load was 42.0 grains Varget behind a 70 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip for 3500 fps in my 24" barrel Rem 700 SS. Start low and work up slowly!
 
Love Varget powder. Use it in my .223, 30-06 but don't have a .243 yet. I'm sure it'll work beautifully in your 22-250.
Lots of people will tell you that you'll get different pressures using different primers, so keep an eye on your brass after you shoot it looking for primer pops, although I don't think it'll be a problem unless you're loading up near max. I've used both CCI and Winchester primers with the same loads in front of them with no difference found, but I don't really ever load maximum. I keep things about .5 grains back of max just as a rule.
 
IMR 3031 powder 33 grains powder,87 grain Hornady has always been a accurate load for my coyote gun.Your bullet choice will be based on your barrel twist.
 
"...twist rate is 1 in 9.25in..." It'll prefer heavier bullets(85 grains and up), but will shoot lighter bullets ok too. What a Speer 105 grain SP does to a groundhog is awe inspiring.
IMR4350 is a 'standard' for the .243. Varget is one of those powders that a lot of cartridges like though. The only thing to be aware of is that most, but not all, bullets under 85 grains are varmint bullets. Not suitable for deer sized game.
