JABC, Belgian made low quality hardware store gun from early 1900's. Ammunition is still made in France and Italy but not normally imported into Canada and is nearly unobtanium. Value maybe $150 as a curiosity but still a firearm and requires a valid PAL to purchase.

24 ga is not on the list, so it likely is considered a non gun.
Could be chamber sleeved to 28 ga, but hardly worth it IMHO.

24 gauge brass cases are also available as are the proper wads to fit them.
This is my choice with black powder for the 24 gauge and it worked very well for pheasants.

the crown over the ELG cartouche puts it post 1893. At 24 guage you would probably not be challenged on it being an antique. The counter point being that the police know very little about antiques and the laws pertaining to them

Keep in mind it has no nitro proofs, has composite barrels, and has seen some neglect and who knows what else in past 100 years. If going done that road (of shooting it - and I'm not saying I wouldn't) then requires being checked over by qualified smith to determine whether safe to fire with BP. Unlikely a person will find published equivalent low pressure smokeless load data for 24 ga.
High gauge # guns have less chamber surface area and therefore higher chamber pressures than do larger diameter hulls for a given payload so not to be taken lightly.

Thanks for the info guys just wanted some info on it and a rough value its not something i plan on firing but more along the lines of giving it a quick facelift and mounting it up on the wall
