Loaded six rounds with Reloader 22 from 51 - 56 grains.
No pressure signs developed.
Shot at 100 yards and using the Chrony for velocity but loads 5 and 6 failed to record.
1 - 4 are in order: 3054, 3123, 3244, and 3306.
Groups size for the 6 was 1.285.
Should be a minute of deer load.
Rifle is a Remington 700 SPS Stainless.

We shot a pile of deer with those in the .257 Weatherbys in the CWD days. Accuracy was never a problem, but slow killing was. Short of a spine hit, you could count on a runner. On the other hand, you can shoot through a deer lengthwise, but that's not as handy as you'd think.

I've had success with the 100 Barnes in the 25-06 and the 257 Wby. Can't say I've had any problems with the TSX. They certainly don't explode like the Ballistic tips do. I have heard of a few people wishing for more expansion in the TSX bullets in the smaller calibres (say 25 and down). I have switched to the TTSX bullet in25 and 6mm calibres and found they create larger wound channels so I think they open up a little quicker on deer sized game. You may want to try them.

A few of us loaded up the 80 grain TTSX to 3900 or so in in the .257 'bee. Judging by the size of the entry hole they open faster than the 100 TSX, but the deer still usually run. Fun to shoot though, at that velocity the bang and the twack are awful close together. I don't know anyone who ever recovered one of these bullets.

I like em! I clocked my RL22 reloads that are loaded a bit beyond where you stopped at 3440fps(25" gain twist)

Smashes the you know what's outta critters.

I use barns 100 tsx in my browning bar in 25-06 with reloader 19 .... And from 50 to about 400 meters I'm good to go .... And all basically drop or go about 50 feet...... And when you open up animal you see the damage that a 25-06 can do and it's kinda shocking??? Makes you wonder why do I need a bigger gun ... Ya ya I know it's not the fastes load but here is mine 49.5 grs of reloader 19 .... Gm210m primers ....any brass trimmed to length .... It works for me !!!... In my toy ... But yours might be different ... Little to no recoil at all ....mv is 2894 to 2911 done with magneto speed ... I just can't believe how accurate it is in my rifle .... Like a laser beam..... Good luck in your testing and development...and 75grainers watch out wolves and coyotes!!!!!!

Well.... now you have me thinking I should load something else up for deer. Had the TSX dialed in, but maybe the 100gr AB or 120gr Grand Slam might be better for them deerz....

Or you could shoot them through the shoulders, that helps. I don't think there is a 100 grain Accubond, unless its new. There is a 110, and there's a 100 ballistic tip that will drop deer like a popped balloon. There's others, the SST comes to mind.

Here's a few from when my kid was 13 or so, shot with ballistic-tips. TSXs and NBTs shot to the same POI, and I just let him figure it out for himself.:)

Yeah, 110gr AB, my bad.....
I have some 100gr plain jane Speer soft point that would probably grenade as well.... I wanted to try those on yotes but maybe a deer will be the first victim.

Good old 117 gr interlocks put them down hard and fast. Never kept one in a deer yet. I'm running 51 gr imr 4831 for 3150 fps from a 22" tube.
Not entirely sure what bullet is loaded in the Winchester Grey box cxp2 120 gr positive expanding point but it's quite devastating even at the mild 2900 fps I was getting with it. Shot my biggest black bear with that factory load. Instantly dropped every animal I've shot with the exception of one buck which I purposely shot low and at the back of the ribs. He dropped than got up and wobbled 60 yards then went down for good

Got out this morning with 56 grain loads. Thinking I would be able to achieve 3400 fps but there appears to be a stall point and velocities ran 3331 (3 the same) to 3385.
Once I had it zeroed at 200 meters, I tried two at 300 yards using the first dot below the cross hairs ( the scope is a 6500 2.5 - 16 DOA Reticle).
I think I will pull what I have and go to 55 grains as a couple were a little sticky.
I plan on going with the 25-06 this year as I have a shoulder injury and want to reduce the recoil but I still have some work to do.
Thank you for your help.
