25-06 loads

I m looking for a good hot, hard hitting load that kills yotes and deer. I live in really windy country(southern ab) so a 120 grain bullet would probably be good.
will be shooting out of a sako L61R

RL22, H4831, IMR 7828, H1000, RL25 are all good powders to try with 115-120 gr. loads in the 25-06.

57 grains of either H1000 or RL25 will propel 115 gr. Ballistic SilverTips or 117 gr. Hornady Interlocks @ 3050-3100 fps out of a 24" barrel.

start low and work up slowly

60gr. Retumbo with a 115 partition works well for me, H4831 is also good.
