25-06 or 257 wby mag

Just wondering what you guys and gals think about the 257 wby mag. I have 2 25-06 rifles that I love and wondering about "REAL WORLD OF HUNTING" advantages to the 257??? Deer and coyotes that is

Less drop at longer distances, couple inches over 300 yeards, not a lot, 257 STW does the same over the 257 Wby. - dan

I have owned both and you gain 250fps with 100-120gr loads, I only have the 257 weatherby now and it is very accurate along with a super flat shooter, but unless you shoot over 300-500 yards on a regular basis it is not a big factor. If you reload you can make 257 weatherby brass from resizing 7mm RM brass easily and cost other wise is the same. these pics are a little out of focus but the first is with 110gr accubonds at 3500fps and the second is 115gr partitions at 3400fps not 3300 as written on the target, both loads are .5'' from my weatherby.

I was just going to ask if anyone used Retumbo in the .257. I've got 8 pounds to find a use for. Do you mind sharing your load, with the standard disclaimers?
