.25-06 reboring to 6.5mm-06

Is it possible to do this? There is not a whole lot of room between .257 and .264 so I was wondering if anyone had any experience doing this.

I believe that reboring from 257 to 264 will not remove the entire rifleing, so that kind of messes that idea. I could be wrong though.

There is not enough difference between bores to accomplish this. You could pull off going to .270 or .284. If you are going to get this done I would recommend Ron Smith in Alberta.
