Just picked up a new 25-06 last weekend after not having one for 5 years or so. Remington 700 LSS with the beautiful black laminate stock. Been wanting one of these forever and just happened to stumble across it at a local gun store while buying a bore snake. $729 brand new in the box, couldn't pass that up!

In my Ruger I had I loaded quite a bit of 75gr hornady HP that were absolute lasers. Still have all my load data that I'll experiment with, not sure if the twist rate is the same as the Ruger or not. Haven't really looked into it.

Also planning on some Nosler Accubond or Partition, probably 110gr for deer hunting. What is everyone loading?

I’ve been working on loads for my X bolt, but it’s taken a lot longer to get anything figured out these days. I’m working with Hornady SST’s at 117 grains and Retumbo powder, but the best I’ve been able to do is a 1 3/4” group before a case stuck in the chamber and I broke my extractor. That sort of puts a damper on testing, and likely moves my testing of Nosler and Speer bullets into next year.

I've worked with 120, 117, 115grn bullets mostly Nosler but have settled on the 110grn Nosler Accubond as my hunting bullet

I have been impressed with the performance of the 110grn bullet on deer.

In my browning bar(semi-auto) I use barns100g tsx or ttsx...running at 2930...2950 fps...inside 400 meters its a done deal also I tried the 75gr vmax for coyotes running at 3100....jesus Christ what a sweet gun ...hardly any recoil and flipping accurate out to 400 meters
I reload my own and just got super #### lucky....my dope for my gun is just sweet roughly 1” per hundred meters after 400 meters I don’t shoot ...not enough steam !

I have found the 120 Speer Grand Slam to be perfect for deer and would be my choice for Elk or moose
