Anyone here shooting a .25 cal airgun ? Are most of these custom builds?Are there pellets avalible or just lead balls?what kind of velocity are you getting?

I bought a length of barrel liner in 25 cal that is the exact diameter to rebarrel a 22xx crossman. I also bought an after market hi volume valve to use on the build but have not got around to it yet. I expect to be well into pal speeds so will have to register it. It should make a descent hunting rig. I'll be bulking it off a paintball tank as well.
 
Just be aware that Turkish made Patriots and Walther Hunters have both had problems with quality control.A HW80 in .25 would be nice but only 600fps.............Harold** Track of the Wolf has .25 blanks $ by the inch for 25 ACP that work fine for airguns

Cro-magnum's got 700 fps, Diana's got around 760 fps which isn't too bad.
I want a little more, so I ordered a spring from JM and plan on a couple of other tweaks.
Thanks again for giving up your old Webley. It might be Turkish,
but I believe it is a first run, made from UK Webley parts, because it looks to be of pretty good quality.
( not like some of the Hatsan and Winchesters that I've seen)KD

I think Gamo has some in that caliber, velocity around 1500 ft/sec, not sure if these are available in canada though
