Im a tube guy so i wont be buying one... but i figure it's about time somebody made 25's for the marlin. Now we just need someone to make a good one.

Second on the "I hope Butler Creek makes these". My BC 25 round steel mag is great. the Shooter's Ridge plastic one has taken a lot of sanding to get to a somewhat functional level.

Had there been 25-round steel-lipped mags for the 597 , I'd have gone to Remington......and had the Marlin steel-lipped 25-rounds , I'd have been tempted in that direction too........

I dunno, I love my (three) 10/22's on their own merits, but those stee-lipped hi-caps are mighty powerful incentives to stick with Ruger....
