Yes. Souper is based on the 308 case. Not much difference between the two, ballistically. I've had both, still have a Roberts. - dan

Reloading components aren't the costly bit. Getting the barrel made would cost more than just sticking with a factory chambering like the Roberts or 25-06. Although it can be chambered with a 243 reamer with a .257 pilot plus a separate neck reamer. So you shouldn't have to buy a new reamer for your gunsmith.
If you have a 308 sized action and want a good 25, it's a good choice. - dan
