My father was given a box of random ammo from a friend. Mostly the usual suspects. 22lr, 12ga, 308 etc. but there was a bag of some some rimfire ammo that he had never seen before. I believe they are 25 Stevens rimfire.
Interesting. I wonder if copper casing are older? I know some of the first metallic cases ever made were brass, but they quickly switched to brass.Yes, they look like Dominion Cartridge Company copper-cased .25 Stevens rimfire. I own a Stevens single shot rifle in this caliber and have some of the lead and brass casing ammo but I've rarely seen the copper casing cartridges.
