Recently got a favorite in 25 stevens with three boxes of shells ,, Is is cost effective too have this sleeved for 22 rime fire .. Gun has the Hex barrel too the end of the fore stock and then a round barrel the rest of the way and is is real good shape

You have to work on the block as well, the firing pin and extractor is different on the 22
I have a new 22 barrel , and a 32 rifle, been a project in waiting for 25yrs, Had a nice 25, but sold it years ago. Cost wise, if you have to pay a gunsmith to do it, I don't think it would pay

Ya with having three full boxes of shells I am most likely good for ammo for a while .. Gun is in such good shape it will look good on the wall after that I guess
