Greetings fellow CGN'ers!!

I was just going through the tickle trunk & found some bullets I forgot I had. I found @200 rounds of Speer 60 gr. spire point bullets.

Does anyone have any load data for the 257 bob that I can use for these? I want to use IMR4895 for powder and was thinking that some place around 42 grains might produce a good fast round while still staying safe.

What does everyone think?

From Hodgdon's 25th edition 60gr bullet/IMR4895 -42gr/3361fps/37000CUP...........46gr/3774fps/44900CUP...... MAX..................Use at own risk..........Harold.......they don't mention C.O.A.L.

There's 60 grain data on Hodgdon's site. None for IMR4895 though. Likely be some in their manual.
My old 45th Edition Lyman book gives 39.0(3205 fps) to 43.0(3497 fps) of IMR4895 for a 60 grain jacketed bullet. Accuracy load was 39.0 of IMR4895.

Sixth Edition Hornady has data for 60gr but not IMR 4895 not sure if they have a newer book out.I like the older Hornady book...........Harold.
