I took an 11 yr old kid to the range the other day with his grandfather to sight in a couple rifles. Boy had never shot a gun in his life, so I started him off at 25yds with a 22 rifle and hand gun. He did great. Hit the targets and was a safe shooter.
Took him over to the 100yd range and showed him how to shoot a CF rifle from the bags. He put one right dead center of the bull, first shot with the 257R. Should have seen the grin on him and his grandfather too.
