257 roberts

Had a guy give me a bunch of this ammo, about 4 boxes worth, some is 257 roberts some says 7mm mauser WW Super im assuming there all reloads as the data is writte on the flap, but curious is this ammo common? how much is it worth? i really have no use for it,

The sum of the once loaded components. $6-$8 per box. It is all an unknown entity. The ammo is neither rare or valuable. You don't make it clear whether some is 7x57 Mauser or if the 7x57 cases have been converted to 257 Roberts.

So you don't know how to measure the diameter of the bullets????

7mm would be .284 and of course 257 would be .257 diameter.

The parent cartridge for the 257 Roberts is the 7mm Mauser. It isn't that unusual to see the 7mm Mauser case formed to the 257Rob.
