I have some winchester formed brass from 264win. i have some hornady 117gr sst, CCI 250 and about 3/4lbs of RL22 which i would like to use up. I'm trying to find a starting load to go by. does 60gr seem right???

Thanks

.257

I have done extensive load development with the .257 weath over the years and have found that this load works best , My accumark is a tack driver at 100 yds with this load as well as a couple other .257's i have tryed it in , save your self a lot of development time and use this.

Barnes tsx 115 gr
cci 250 large mag rifle primer
Imr 7828 69.0 gr

What i am trying to do is fire form the brass with some stuff i have laying around. Then go to the 7828 for load development.

That is with the hornady bullet from the barnes manual with the 115 TSX its fine i have not had any pressure issues.

Huh thats the hornady manuel with the hornady bullet. I am confused by your post. Not geting upset just trying to understand.

Get a reloading manual!!!!! then you have a reference point for different powders, cause you may not find an accurate load the first time around. R22, 7828, and I find Retumbo fantastic with bullet weights of 110-120gr.

Use RE:22,IMR 4831 or H4831.............my buddy just FL resizes 7mmRem mag brass done deal...................mag primers always.............Harold
