.257 Weatherby reload info

I'm having a hell of a time finding .257 Weatherby brass, can anyone help me out?

Yeah, buy 4 or 5 boxes of factory Weatherby ammo at $78 a box, shoot all of these off then you will have some brass...
Oh, did you want cheaper brass?? lol um...no

Awesome cartridge tho. Just real pricey

I did the same till I got the proper headstamped brass,DAN>>>

I ordered a few hundred Norma .257WBY brass from Jerry at Mystic Precision. Same brass as in the Weatherby factory ammo (loaded by Lapua).

Hi. Where you are matters.
Epp's lists .257 Weatherby brass. No prices on their site though.
Weatherby uses Norma brass. Expensive stuff. Cabela's Canada wants $82.99 per 50 for Nosler brass.

If you look around weatherby has promo ammo for the 257, 270 and 300 for $46 a box. Just normal soft points, but thats almost the same price as empty brass.

Hornady has started loading 257 ammo, maybe they'll have some brass for sale soon as well.
You can buy the cheap Weatherby soft point ammo for around $50 a box. If you do your homework, loaded Wby ammo is sometimes cheaper than new Wby brass.

Cabelas/SIR are selling 257wby for $41.99 a box loaded with 100gr pills. I paid $42.99 a box for brass when WSS had them. Other than that use reformed Rem 7mm. Cheaper brass works best. I tried Normas but found them too thick after reforming.
