I just built a 26 Nosler and I’m geared up to reload for it now. Just looking to see if anyone has some pet loads they would be willing to share. Thanks

It really depends what you mean by "pet loads". There is quite a bit of published loads that you can find on the internet. Appropriate sources incude Nosler, Hodgdon powders, Western powders, Alliant Powders, Vihtavuori, etc.. Those sources will provide you with valuable information. Always start low and work up. What your particular rifle will prefer is almost impossible to predict.

OTOH, if you rely on an unknown source for handloading information, and that source cannot backup that info with verifiable data, i.e a published load or "Quick Load" data, you are asking for trouble. Hence, "just fill up the case with whatever powder you have on hand", is not good advice.

If you are inexperienced, by all means, start with published loads. Otherwise, and without a proper understanding of what "developing a load from scratch" entails, you are asking for trouble.

I’m fairly experienced reloading and I do have published data but with it being a relatively new cartridge I was hoping maybe someone had a load they worked up that worked well. Exercising caution of coarse.

This helps. Thanks

RL 33 works well, that and us869 likely have the highest speeds. I run the 127lrx and 80gr of rl33 in my current 26, but I have tried quite a few bullets through the 26’s I had/have. Off the top of my head I have shot - 140amax, sst, chinchaga, accubond, hornady bthp match, vld, target hybrid, vld-H and rdf. 142lrab, 129lrab, 130ab, 120ttsx, 127lrx come to mind. Us869, h50bmg, 7977, rl33 and some 7828 for powders.
The 140’s all topped out 3290-3340 with us869, the 127lrx can run over 3500 with rl33, factory nosler 140ab runs 3320 from my 26” barrel. I found the nosler manual to be very close to max loads in both the 26’s I had.

Hello! If you ever need brass, I got 14 brand new, sealed boxes, available for 80$/box. Buy several and I’ll include shipping and maybe another discount. You won’t find a better peice! ;)
