.260 Rem - Need your advice

Currently have a Tikka T3 Lite in a 22-250 but I am looking to re-barrel and chamber into a .260 rem. I would like to keep the same contour as the existing sporter barrel.
What would be some suggestions for barrel length and barrel maker?
I will be using this as a hunting rifle/carry gun. Thanks.
 
ted galliard for sure except when i talked to him a while ago he said he didnt go faster than a 1 in 10 twist. i think you need an 8 for the 140-142 s on the 260 right? yes ? no?


maybe shoot the 120 s but i would not do it unless it could fire the 140s as well.
 
Thanks for the all your help. I made an order yesterday with Ted Gaillard for a 24" finish, 1-8 twist, #1 contour. $425 to my door. Awesome!! Craig Douglas will be putting the barrel on for me. He does Awesome work, can't say enough good about the guy!!
