260 rem reloading

Quick question for you guys,

I am already reloading 243 win.
I would like to reload some 260 rem. For a friend.

Should I get new brass or only use some of my 243 more available and expand the neck.

Or am I better find some 308 and neck down?

Woks the same either way.

If it was me, I would get some once fired 308 and neck it down and then trim them all to the same length.

That way I would not eat into my supply of 243 brass.

Try to get a couple boxes of the same brass, rather than random range pick up.

Lapua, Alpha and ADG 260 brass is readily available. Go that route

Lapua 260rem brass is what I use.
N160 power.

... and where do you guys buy your lapua brass. The usual online shops I use don’t have them on hand.

If you resize you should really ream necks too to make sure they're consistent. Lotsa work. Get 260 brass! I've found H4350, H4831, RL19 to be good powders in my 260 when I had one. Had a killer 130gr TSX and H4350 load!
