how would it feed out of a AI Mag???Anyone know?

I had one built by Ultimate Accuracy exactly like Terry Cross's. Once I read his articale on it I was sold. The mags work great. Also note that once you AI this cartridge you will only get 8 or maybe 9 rounds in your "10" round mag because of the larger shoulder. The 260AI has lots of benefits that outweighs this. The articale he writes goes into great detail about everything you need to know.

With the center feed mag, no problem. I have seen staggered mags listed as AI mags so am confused. Wouldn't want an AI shoulder for a staggered mag.

Mags for the AICS (Rem 700) are centre feed. 308 sized mags for the true Accuracy International rifles are staggered.

Just how much larger is the shoulder on a 260 AI compared to the standard cartridge? Five thousandths? I wouldn't think this should make any difference in magazine capacity. Regards, Bill
