Everyone I know ON THE INTERNET shoots 1/4 MOA groups all the time. And with their $600 rifles (usually a Savage) and $300 scopes. And surplus ammo. On a windy day.

That's awesome & is very true :)

That has got to be COST on everything. Stock $700, Action $1000, barrel $400, bottom metal $300. I don't see any $$$ for the work to put it all together or turning it a different colour. This gun should be worth about $5000 with jewel and rail.

The above is the same rifle built by surgeon, price and specs from them. I would think that the rifle pictured from T. Cross would likely be a lot morethan the 2 thousand dollar range?????

Terry Cross does build some sweet rifles. He is so busy that last I heard he is not taking orders right now.

On that note, the last line on the first post does read "$2500US + depending on configuration".

Airborn 69, thanks for posting the pic of the kick butt rifle, hardware like that always gets me salivating like a 3 legged dog in front of a butcher shop!! :)

I wouldn't mind getting one in 6.5X55Swiss mauser, Tell me Stephen, Who to Contact!...

It doesn't take a genius to figure why these american companies went with the SA 260 Rem vs the better LA 6.5x55 Swed...Because the .260 is american!! It is still an exellent ballistic round & would serioulsy consider getting one of these in the future

If someone wnats to simplify the options here, you could do the same with stock 24'' 6.5x55 Tikka T3 Varmint chasis w/Picatinny rail & put it on, lets say, a McMillan & get it flutted by Corlane or KS Arms for comparible perfomance.
