Recovered a 6.5mm 140gr Accubond yesterday.
3200fps muzzle. 264 win mag
75yds almost through a Mule Deer.
Hit ribs and made the insides mush. Didn't get up.

Final weight 79.2grs
Looks just like the nosler picture though.

Very re-assuring to see - have been using 7mm Partitions for years - only recently started with Accubond in .338 and 9.3 - very accurate on paper targets - have had no chance yet on "meat" - good to see that you have had very good experience!!! I am too old to go chasing stuff with a hole in it - nice to hear it did not get up!!!

Having owned several 264 Win Mag rifles over the years, I know that this
Chambering is a good one to test 6.5mm bullet integrity.

I have shot mostly 140 Partitions in mine, but have also been pleased with
the 140 A-Frame and the 140 Accubond. I'll bet the 130 Scirocco II will also
qualify, but have not shot anything with one yet. Dave.

I plowed one of those through a bull moose a couple years ago, but 275 yards away and MV was 3050. Great bullet

I got excellent performance with them. Last years bull fell to a 165gr .30-06 round. 107gr bullet weight after it broke 2 ribs, liqified a lung and was caught in the offside hide. MV was 2825 f/s. Shot was 120yds. 2 bears dropped from my .375 Ruger using the 260gr Accubond. Both bullets passed through, big internal trauma and a fist sized exit. Both dead within 5 yds. First shot was 15 yds and second was 50 yds. The last 3 boxes I bought of 25 cal & 30 cals had at least 3 tips broke off per box. (Rough shipping??) Nasty looking hollowpoint!!! I used them to shoot mini watermelons with vaporizer effects!!
